Cancellation & Refund Policy

If We Cancel:

We always do our very best to show up, rain or shine. However, sometimes life happens, and we are forced to cancel an event we'd previously committed to. If we cancel, for any reason, we never charge.. 

If You Cancel:

While we do understand that sometimes things happen that may cause you to have to cancel an event or presentation, we have unfortunately had instances come up in the past where a client cancelled without due notice, or without valid reason. Because of this, we have had to enact a formal cancellation policy. Events are often booking several months to a year in advance, and having someone hold a date only to cancel a month or two before means we will be unable to find work that day.

If you are cancelling due to a genuine emergency, please let us know, as we will waive late cancellation fees on a case-by-case basis.

Short Presentations/Lectures

  • If cancelled more than 3 months before the lecture date: No payment due

  • If cancelled 3 months or less before the lecture date: 25% of the total fee

  • If cancelled 1 month or less before the lecture date: 50% of the total fee

  • If cancelled 14 days or less before the lecture date: 75% of the total fee

  • 24 hours or fewer before to the lecture: 100% of the total fee

Events/Displays (4+ Hours)

  • If cancelled more than 4 months before the event date: No payment due

  • If cancelled 4 months or less before the event date: 25% of the total fee

  • If cancelled 2 months or less before the event date: 50% of the total fee

  • If cancelled 14 days or less before the event date: 75% of the total fee

  • 24 hours or fewer before the event date: 100% of the total fee

Flight Demonstrations

Flight demonstrations are incredible to watch if everything goes well. However, while they are trained, these birds are still at their core wild animals and may behave as such from time to time. It is my duty as a falconer to keep my birds’ health and safety in mind at all times. Flight services may be cancelled at our discretion for any reason, including (but not limited to): weather, the presence of wild raptors, behavioral discrepancies, and physical obstacles/hazards in the flight location. In the event of a cancelled flight demonstration, the fee associated with the flight demonstration will be refunded.
